The transformation of the Main Street with street planters and hanging baskets is in full swing with more baskets still to come. Many people have said how much better the street is looking. Cambuslang in Bloom are now looking for new volunteers to help look after the plants with regular watering and maintenance.
Cambuslang Community Council and Cambuslang Allotment Gardens are calling for your help to support Cambuslang in Bloom. The Main Street improvements are funded by a £35,000 grant from the Scottish Government Town Centre Communities Capital Fund, won by Cambuslang Community Council, to buy planters, tools, plants, baskets, soil and other materials.
