Following the representations made by Cambuslang Community Council on the SLC Strategic Commissioning Plan 2019-22 on the future of health and social care in Cambuslang (and throughout South Lanarkshire), we have invited Mr Craig Cunningham (Head of Commissioning and Performance at the South Lanarkshire Health & Social Care Partnership) to participate at the Community Council meeting on Tuesday, 15th January 2019, 7.30 pm at the Cambuslang Insitute. Mr Cunningham will present the plans for the future of social care which involve less reliance on nursing and residential care, and more ‘transitional care’ arrangements for home-based living.
