We have great news – the Cambuslang Community Activity Grant scheme 2021/22 is now open for funding!

Funded by South Lanarkshire Council’s Renewable Energy Fund, Cambuslang Community Council have been awarded £5,000 for a third year to offer microgrants of up to £500 to small local groups and individuals who need small amounts to improve the quality of life and community spirit in Cambuslang West.

To be eligible for the 2021/22 Community Activity Grant, you need to be located in the Cambuslang Community Council area, and the funding must be of benefit to the community in this area. Please check the map before applying to ensure that you and the beneficiaries of the project are within the boundary.

Applicants must show how the funding will: (a) enhance the quality of life for local residents; (b) contribute to a vibrant, healthy successful & sustainable community; and/or (c) promote community spirit and encourage community activity.

Organisations/groups applying for funding must have a bank account.

The closing date for applications is Thursday 30 September 2021 at 5pm. All applications must have been received by the deadline to be considered for selection. We hope to make decisions on awards by the end of October 2021
