South Lanarkshire Council are proposing to introduce waiting restrictions on Mansion Street (between Clydeford Road and Monkcastle Drive). They say that parking on the south side of Mansion Street reduces the available carriageway width causing congestion and creates problems for vehicles entering and exiting the lay-by on the north side of the road and is detrimental to road safety. Therefore, they propose to prohibit waiting at any time on the south side of Mansion Street.
