Friends of Holmhills Wood Community Park (FoHWCP) are looking for volunteers to hep with planting bulbs in Holmhills Wood Community Park on 11th September at 11am.
South Lanarkshire Council’s Land Services department will be rotavating the area before the 11th in preparation. Volunteers are needed to help remove debris and some weeds before planting but hope to have a conveyor belt going to complete the task on the day. The aim is to plant native bluebells, snow drops and daffodils along Langlea Road (next to Langlea Grove entrance), approximately 1500 or more!
FHWCP need gloves, ground forks and and tools for planting bulbs, and would welcome anyone help with the loan of this equipment for the day. Please contact Michelle Farmer at mishafarmer@live.com for further details.
